Bally Alley / Bally Lane (Bally Manufacturing Corp, 1974)

The Bally Alley wall game is  described as a "wall bowler" by Bally.  This is a four-player game.  Unlike other bowling-themed wall games such as Gremlin's Tenpin or Sunbird's Super Bowler, which had horizontal bowling lanes, the Bally Alley game panel used a vertical bowling lane.  Players bowled from the bottom to the top of the game panel where the ball would then strike the pins.

The 5-button wireless RF remote control used by this game is the most elaborate of any of the wall games, with the possible exception of Gremlin's Fooswall game.  Each player has their own hand-held switch which is connected by wire to the remote control unit.

Bally Alley was produced in a second version, reminiscent of many pinball games which were produced in "add-a-ball" or "free game" versions.  Bally Lane was identical to Bally Alley, except that it did not include the ability to receive a free game by either beating a "score to beat", or by the last digit of a score reel matching a random number which appeared on the display panel at the end of the game.

This game appears to be the first wall game designed to accommodate an optional dollar bill acceptor within the coin box.

To my knowledge, these were the only wall games produced by Bally.
