Bull's Eye (Midway Mfg. Co.)

This is the famous "Hank and Iggy" game, a nickname derived from the silk-screened names of the two male dart-playing characters.  The characters were reportedly named after Hank Ross and Iggy Wolverton, two engineering executives at Midway.

The Midway wall games were electromechanical, incorporating solenoids and relays instead of transistors and integrated circuits.  The scoring mechanisms were not digital matrix displays, but rather score reels such as those found on EM pinball machines of that era.

Midway offered their wall games in either a wall-mounted or pedestal-mounted format.  The wall-mounted games had a separate coin box, whereas the pedestal-mounted games had an integral coin box in the pedestal base.

Another option for Midway wall games was the type of remote control units.  The operator could purchase the game with either hard-wired remote controls, or RF remote control transmitters and receivers.
